Supramolecular chemistry group
We are fascinated by glycolurils, the urea-based heterocycles, for the ability to serve as building blocks of macrocyclic compounds with the potential to encapsulate a variety of small molecules and ions. The synthesis and supramolecular properties of these receptors are the major research topics of our group.
